Within the framework of its activities as Vice-President of the Americas Region of the World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES), the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA, United States of America) is organizing an “International Week” November 5 to 8, 2019, at the Hall of States in Washington, D.C.
This event organized in collaboration with the OECD Lead, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), NASWA and WAPES. The week’s events will bring together experts, policy makers, representatives from partner organizations, and decision makers from around the world to share their challenges, experiences and initiatives to keep pace with digitization, new technologies, and the evolution of the world of work.

- Tuesday, 5 November: OECD/NASWA/WAPES/NAWB conference – Local Responses to the Future of Work
- Wednesday, 6 November: IDB/WAPES conference – The Role of Technology in the Delivery of Services for Public Employment Services
- Thursday 7 and Friday 8 November: WAPES Managing Board and site visit (only for WAPES MB members)
