At the beginning of September, WAPES was present in Lomé, Togo in order to attend several activities.
On 6 September was held AASEP General Assembly (African Association of Public Employment Services) in the premises of the BOAD in Lome.
14 out of17 countries members were present in order to discuss important topics for the association.
Mr. André Nyanga Elanga led the discussions.
On 07 September, more than 200 participants, including 60 foreigners, attended WAPES Regional Workshoporganized jointly with ANPE Togo. The opening was in charge of:

On Thursday 08 September took place the launching of the works of the “Cité des Métiers” (Careers Guidance Centre) of Lomé.
Worldwide Guests came to the presentation of the first African “Cité des Métiers” (Career Guidance Center).
Annie Gauvin, représentant Pôle emploi, et Edmond Amoussou, l'ANPE ont signé un accord de coopération sous l'oeil du Ministre Aidam. En effet, Pôle emploi a offert 100 ordinateurs à l'ANPE du Togo. Ces ordinateurs seront mis à disposition des visiteurs de la Cité des Métiers.
Annie Gauvin, representing Pôle emploi, and Edmond Amoussou from ANPE signed a cooperation agreement under the eye of the Minister Aidam. Indeed, Pôle emploi has provided 100 computers to ANPE Togo. These computers will be available to visitors of the “Cité des Métiers” (Careers Guidance Centre).
