The Executive Secretariat has held an interesting meeting this Monday 15 October, 2018, in WAPES office, with the representatives of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD):Mr Oleg Chirita, Programme Coordinator Global Initiatives and Mr. Salvatore Petronella project manager of the Mobility Partnership Facility (MPF).
The objective of this meeting with WAPES Secretariat was to introduce the project Mobility Partnership Facility (MPF), which provides grants to central and local public bodies of the EU Member States (EU MS) to implement concrete actions in the partner countries with whom the EU/EU MS signed either a Mobility Partnership (MP) (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cabo Verde, Georgia, Jordan, Moldova, Morocco, Tunisia) or a Common Agenda on Migration and Mobility (CAMM) (Nigeria, Ethiopia and India).
Who can apply? Open to EU members States for actions targeting a select number of partner countries, and can include law bodies or NGOS as well as international organisation as co-applicants.
