Perú: Recognition of professional skills

Ministry of Labor recognized Labor competencies of More than 4800 People at the National Level 

 

During this year skills like trades of cook, cleaning staff, baker, bricklayer, Entre Otros were evaluated.

 

Jesús María, October 26, 2017.- Between January and September, the Impulsa Peru Program of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) certified the labor competencies of 4896 people with low  economic resources of the Regions Áncash, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cusco, Ica, Junín, La Libertad, Lima, Piura Puno. 

 

The Occupational Profiles recognized were: attention in food and beverage, kitchen, cleaning service, bakery, Sales Representative, waiter, masonry, evaluation there phytosanitary application, basic welding, construction of internal natural gas networks, cashier in commercial establishment, fruit Packing, technified irrigation operator, footwear manufacture and fruit management. 

 

The process consisted in analyzing the economic dynamics in each region, visiting the companies in order to know the certification needs of their collaborators, and finally, the beneficiaries who were certified after knowledge and practical evaluations were identified.

 

This certification recognizes the skills and abilities of people who have empirical knowledge gained throughout their work experience, in order to improve their employability.

 

The certificate has official value and is delivered through the certification centers authorized by the MTPE.

 

The Impulsa Perú program aims to promote employment and increase the levels of employability in the country, through training services for labor insertion, certification of labor competencies and training for entrepreneurship.
