On Wednesday 1 July, Pôle emploi unveiled L'Émission, the first edition of its new all-digital video programme.

On Wednesday 1 July, Pôle emploi unveiled L'Émission, the first edition of its new all-digital video programme. Broadcast on Youtube, the talkshow offers a different and fun way to discover Pôle emploi's services.


With an offbeat tone and a touch of self-mockery, this thirty-minute web series explores online services allowing jobseekers to update their CVs, prepare for job interviews, or even keep up to date online. 


L'Émission", the first genuine thematic video programme intended for all digital media, presented by Juliette, a Pôle emploi employee, alternates on-set sequences with micro-reports.


The programme is divided into seven sections:


" Pencil in hand ": an artist, along with a voice-over, introduces the subject of the episode by drawing it in the form of a video " Draw my life ".


 “Vox pops”: to assess the French people's level of knowledge of how Pôle emploi and its services work.


“The plateau interview": jobseekers discover how to make the best use of the services offered to them by Pôle emploi to simplify their procedures and hasten their return to working life. 


" One-minute reports ": an expert from Pôle emploi, filmed " as a short movie ", presents one of the operator's new digital services, namely " MOOCs for employment ", thematic videos allowing free remote training.


 « Info or fake news? »: back to the set where Juliette is trying to decode several tweets, in order to break down some preconceptions or to confirm some information gathered on the social network .


« The Debriefing Interview”: an expert gives his analysis on the topic being addressed. In this first episode, Serge Tisseron, psychiatrist and PhD in psychology, specialized in the human relationship with new technologies, describes how to tackle digital tools according to one' s experience. 


« The Recap”: a one-minute infographics presentation coupled with a voice-over that summarizes the main information to remember.


Through " L'Emission ", Pôle emploi aims to raise awareness of its digital service offer for job seekers and thus speed up their return to work.


Pôle emploi will be presenting the second episode of "L'Emission" during the "ReStart" week dedicated to the creation and takeover of companies in September.
