This Saturday, November 23rd, the Forem organized its second jobday in Namur. The objective was to attract new talents to continue to strengthen and complete the teams. The event was a success: 887 people came to find out about the 175 job opportunities available and 272 have already applied for one of these positions.
Throughout the day, many Forem collaborators were mobilized to answer the various questions of the public and testify to the richness of their daily work. Each visitor benefited from personalized information on the positions available within the Office, on working conditions and on how to apply. It was also possible to apply on site and 272 people took advantage of the opportunity. Those who wish to apply can still do so on the Forem website.
As a reminder, a series of vacancies are to be filled for 2020. The Forem is looking for: 87 consultants, 44 trainers, 12 ALE collaborators and 32 project managers, analysts, developers and architects (IT and digital sectors).
Candidates who have been selected for the advisory positions will be invited to a test which will be held on 5 February in La Louvière. As far as candidate trainers are concerned, the technical and pedagogical tests will be held from February onwards.
According to Marie-Kristine Vanbockestal, General Administrator of the Forem, the second jobday of Forem is a success: "It is a perfect illustration of Forem's ability to attract new talents and its expertise in organising events that bring together employment and training experts and the specific needs of a company. Since the beginning of the year, the Forem has organised more than 178 jobdays throughout Wallonia ".
