In this presentation Professor Cathrine Filstad emphasized that Organizational Learning is very complicated. There is already a lot of knowledge in our organizations, but the challenge is to share it and give people the chance to work with it.
Explicit knowledge should become tacit knowing, knowing how to handle in concrete situations. Organisations need to develop from knowledge management to a learning organization/culture which is a dynamic continuum.
This is why an organization needs to be open for the knowledge of individuals and internal networks. Key for success is trust in leaders and colleagues. Creating an arena of trust where employees can share their knowledge.
