This webinar will focus on the dynamics of the Malian workforce and provide an overview of the Malian labour market, the role of the public employment service and other topics. Join us as we explore how these elements influence employment dynamics in Mali in complex ways.
The event will be held in French, but interpretation will be available in Spanish and English.

Mr. Dioncounda NIAKATE
Employment Advisor at the Agence Nationale Pour l’Emploi (ANPE) Mali and Coordinator of the Prospective Studies Unit.
Mr. Mr. Dioncounda Niakaté is a former student leader. He was General Secretary of the Association of Graduates Initiators and Job Seekers (ADIDE), the most representative youth movement in Mali with 11,000 members in 1991.
Among his many experiences, he was the founder and editor-in-chief of the weekly general information newspaper “SOS Jeunes Diplômés”. He hosted the radio programme “Les enfants vous parlent” (The children are speaking to you) on Radio Kayra 104.4 in Bamako.
Recruited by the National Agency for Employment (Agence Nationale Pour l’Emploi) in 1992, he worked within the Support Unit for the Integration of Young Graduates and the upskilling and reskilling Department and Vocational Training Centre. He acted twice as Deputy General of the ANPE and since 2014, he is the Coordinator of the Prospective Studies Unit (Cellule d’Etudes Prospectives – CEP), which is a monitoring and anticipation tool working alongside the Director General.
Mr. Niakaté currently represents the ANPE on the National Committee for the Validation of Green Employment Projects and Programmes of the NGO Mali Folkcenter Nyètaa, which works in the field of energy efficiency and transition.
