    WAPES Webinar – Exclusive Paper Launch Event AI and Digitalisation in Public Employment Services: Insights from 12 Countries On 9 September 2026, WAPES will host the exclusive launch event of the paper “AI and Digitalisation in Public Employment Services: Insights from 12 Countries”, developed by the WAPES International Working Group after one year of collaborative work. The paper brings together country perspectives from 12 Public Employment Services and focuses on three highly relevant topics for the future of PES: AI, automation and cybersecurity in PES Digital platforms, data and interoperability Inclusion and demographic change in the digital era These themes are becoming increasingly important as Public Employment Services around the world adapt their services, tools, staff roles and organisational strategies to digital transformation and changing labour markets. The online launch event will present the main findings of the paper and provide space for exchange through three thematic panels with representatives from the participating countries.
