ANETI: Improving tourism development
The Agence Nationale pour l’Emploi et le Travail Indépendant “ANETI” organized, under the aegis of the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training and in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and the Université Tunisienne des Hôtelleries, regional employment days in the tourism sector in the governorates of Nabeul, Sousse, Monastir, Mahdia and Médenine from May 24 to 31, 2023.

The event was organized in cooperation with Swisscontact as part of the TAKWEEN 2023 training program, with the intention of meeting the needs of economic institutions in the tourism sector in terms of human resources and skilled labor.
125 tourism units took part in the days’ activities, posting around 2,950 job offers in various specialties related to the sector. A total of 1,950 job seekers took part.

The regional days were organized following the results of a questionnaire aimed at tourism professionals to identify their human resources needs. This initiative is part of the coordination between the various State departments, with a view to better meeting the needs of establishments operating in the tourism sector, in terms of human resources and specialized manpower. It also aims to ensure the best possible conditions for the success of the current tourist season, and to facilitate the integration of graduates from higher education and the national vocational training system into the various tourist establishments.

The ultimate aim is to improve the quality of services provided and to promote Tunisia as a highly competitive tourist destination.
