Launch of the second edition of publication “The World of Public Employment Services,” survey — a collaborative initiative by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES).

Initially introduced in 2011, and later updated in 2016, this ground-breaking publication, provides invaluable comparative insights derived from 73 Public Employment Services across 71 countries. As we embark on the latest edition, focusing on critical dimensions such as the social economy, digital transformation, labour migration management, and green transition, we invite your organization to contribute to this comprehensive global endeavour. Your contribution will not only update our understanding of how Public Employment Services are addressing contemporary challenges but will also empower your organization with insights from international best practices.

To ensure your participation, we have scheduled informative sessions on the 30th of January at two convenient times: 09:00 am CET and 04:00 pm CET.

During these sessions, representatives from IDB, OECD, and WAPES, along with contributing researchers and pilot survey countries, will provide detailed information about the survey and its objectives. Sessions will be supported by simultaneous translation from English into French and Spanish. Please note that you are kindly requested to choose only one of the two time slots to attend the session. This ensures that you receive thorough insights into the reissue and the survey itself without any scheduling conflicts. Additionally, your active participation in filling out the survey is crucial for inclusion in the reissue of the book. This step is integral to capturing the diverse perspectives and practices of Public Employment Services worldwide.
