Each year, WAPES organizes activities in all regions of the world for public employment services and other invited organizations: conferences, workshops (online and face-to-face), webinars, peer reviews, activities supported by the cooperation fund, and surveys of public employment service strategies and results. They are organised in collaboration with our members and partners.

The WAPES vision
WAPES is a support and cooperation body for PES. It is not a legal governance body. In order to build a solid common base for SPEs worldwide, WAPES gives priority to a common strategy and charter of values. Thus supporting them in fulfilling their mission of making the labour market function optimally along the lines of their specific context. WAPES is a platform for knowledge and communication, and a passionate advocate of change.
WAPES makes all the difference in the ever-changing world of employment. We encourage the exchange of best practice between the various players in the labour and employment markets. All activities carried out should contribute to achieving the objectives of WAPES and enable it to become an active partner on the world stage, a platform for learning and knowledge development, and a supporter of capacity building for its members.
